The D1047S isolates Safe Area loop power drive signals to control a device in Hazardous Location. Typical application is to drive Solenoid Valves, Signaling LED‚ and Visual or Audible Alarms for F&G when these devices are ND. The unit can also be used as a controlled supply to power measuring or process equipments ND in Hazardous Location.
SIL 2 for loop power and ND Load according to IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards.
Unit perform a cicling test for line integrity (open or short) every second and provides an alarm contact output and a LED fault signal on the front panel.
Hazardous Area:
Electrovalve, LED, Audible Alarm or other devices ND.
Safe Area:
Loop Powered 24 Vdc from DCS, PLC or other control devices.
Function:
1 channel to operate Hazardous Area NE Loads from loop power signal in Safe Areas.
3 port isolation (input/output/supply), Loop power.
Bus power for diagnostic circuit only.
